From AI image to a drawing you can discuss
How research, visualisation and documentation support different decisions in the studio.

Give each output a purpose
A research note compares ideas. A visualisation explores a mood or composition. A drawing records dimensions and relationships at a stated stage. Labelling the output helps a client understand what it can tell them.
Use the image to ask better questions
An AI-assisted image can prompt a discussion about shade, materials or atmosphere. It does not establish that a layout fits, a detail can be built, or a site complies. Test the useful ideas against the project’s actual constraints in the drawing work.
Keep the designer’s judgement visible
My current AI use supports research, design development, visualisation and documentation. I review its outputs and develop the work in Archicad. New digital fabrication interests remain in development; an attractive image is not evidence of fabrication capability.
